Hiking paradise Gadmen

The idyllic Gadmental offers its guests a varied range of hikes. Be it a wonderful high-altitude hike to the Tälli hut, an ascent to the beautiful Gadelaui lake, the king's stage of the Via Berna to the Susten pass or a spectacular run over the Trift bridge - in Gadmen you are exactly right as a hiking fan. We are very happy to welcome you with us!

GADMEN - TÄLLI HUT

From the Gadmer Lodge via the Raflue Alp, the high-altitude hike, below the mighty Gadmer Dolomites, leads directly to the beautiful Tälli mountain inn. After a cozy stopover, the KWO self-service cable car takes you comfortably back to the valley - from where you can find your way back to the Gadmer Lodge via the forest road.

Gadmen - Lake Gadelaui

This lonely hike in the Bernese Oberland leads from the village of Gadmen high above the Gadmertal up to the beautiful Gadenlauisee (2,155 m). The very idyllic mountain lake lies in a hollow at the foot of the Radlefshorn with a great view of the chain between Tällistock and Titlis in the Uri Alps. The hike is a real insider tip, so the rest at the lake is usually enjoyed alone and in absolute peace.

VIA BERNA: GADMEN - STEINGLETSCHER - SUSTENPASS

On the old mule track from Gadmen through the gorge and a moor landscape you climb up to the hotel Steingletscher. Views of the Steinsee and the retreating glacier open up on the way to the Sustenpass. Here, at the border to the canton of Uri, the last stage of the ViaBerna ends.

SPECTACULAR TRIFT BRIDGE

The Trift Bridge is one of the most spectacular pedestrian suspension rope bridges in the Alps. 100 meters high and 170 meters long, it hovers above the area of the Trift glacier - spectacular views for those free of giddiness are guaranteed! You can reach the Triftbahn from the Gadmer Lodge in 5 minutes by car.
